Primary Location

Primary Location → Edit Primary Location

Use Primary Location for the most important place on the map, such as a property, hotel, headquarters, venue or main destination.

It remains separate from marker clusters and can also become the origin for automatic distance calculations.

Enable

Turns Primary Location on or off. The remaining Primary Location controls appear after it is enabled.

Title

Sets the location name shown in the popup. Use a short and clear name.

Description

Adds supporting text below the popup title. Keep it brief so the popup stays easy to read.

Latitude and Longitude

Set the exact coordinates of the Primary Location. Use accurate decimal coordinates.

Marker

Uploads the normal Primary Location marker image.

Active Marker

Uploads the selected or hover version of the marker. This works with the Advanced Marker version when a Map ID is present.

Size

Controls the displayed marker size in pixels. Use a slightly larger size than supporting markers so the main location stays recognisable.

Color

Controls the colour of the built-in Primary Location marker. This is mainly used when no custom marker image is displayed.

Active Color

Controls the built-in active-state colour. Use a stronger or darker colour to make the active state clear.

Link

Adds an optional destination to the popup. Examples include a property page, booking page, contact page or directions page.

New Tab

Controls whether the link opens in the current tab or a new tab.
